Introduction
TALK family provides child-parent activities in institutions such as schools and libraries. By means of a parent workshop and succeeding activities with stories and self-reflection exercises, attention is raised for a more sustainable awareness focused on mutual growth, both professionally and socially.

Child & Parent Workshop. This is an initiative aiming at improving consciousness in the relation between children and parents.

This activity starts with an interactive workshop for parents. The result of the workshop is a self-made set of practical actions for children and their parents. The workshop starts with a few examples illustrating the narrow box our brains are working in. In the second part in different groups parents discuss a set of questions about the way they connect/communicate to their children. Next they define activities to improve this connection. The third part is a plenary phase where all groups demonstrate their results.

A follow up meeting for children and their parents is organized where they practice and experience the activities within the group. Would you like to participate in a Child & Parent workshop? Meeting Brenda Pelser. One thing that keeps amazing me is the positive effect of children massage and how it creates connection in relations. Just have a look at Brenda Pelser's website. I met her during Spring 2008. We had a long walk along the beach discussing topics like awareness, holistic massage and how to create real connections between children and their parents.
